Over the years, David Greenberger has worked with a range of musical collaborators, including Terry Adams (of NRBQ), David Hidalgo & Louis Perez (of Los Lobos), 3 Leg Torso, Paul Cebar and Birdsongs of the Mesozoic. As they approached the tenth anniversary of their Mayor of the Tennesee River (written and debuted in performance in 2003, then recorded and released on CD two years later), David Greenberger and Shaking Ray Levis embarked on a new project after playing a festival together in 2011.
