Great debut album by Australian melodic black metal band Atra Vetosus. Like any good black metal album, their song titles are awesome. "Skies of Obsidian Rain," "Nocturnal Winds," and "Tortured by the Light of a Thousand Stars," are my favorites. Voices From The Eternal Night assaults your senses, but gives you enough interludes and acoustic breaks to give your brain a rest before the next pummeling. Relentless enough to be great, melodic enough to keep you listening. Not sure why this album is labeled "explicit," since the lyrics are unintelligible anyway.
