This all-wood (no pressed wood by-products) International Concepts unfinished cabinet is just what I needed and it looks great! (see photo)A 40x28x14" box arrived on my front porch about a week before the projected delivery date. It was heavy; so I had my son help me carry it into the garage. I opened it and found the instructions and hardware bag quickly. Some washers had escaped, but I found them all in the box. There were no missing or broken parts.PACKAGING: Kudos to the packaging engineer! It was packed in pieces in a heavy-duty cardboard box, and contained very few, but biodegradable, foam elements.ASSEMBLY: The assembly instructions were well-organized and easy to follow. I chose to stain the unfinished wooden pieces before assembly and used a Minwax "Gunstock 231" stain that I had on hand. After it dried I compared the color to my other pieces and found that the stain was too "red." I then gave the pieces a coat of "Golden Oak" stain, which added yellow.I then assembled the cabinet. All of the holes were lined up, but the rear slats required that I loosen some screws in order to slightly adjust some pre-installed cleats. NOTE: Do not fully tighten the screws until everything is put together! I used a 1" hole bit to drill into the rear slats for added wire access. And I went down to the hardware store and bought a metal knob for the drawer rather than use the supplied wooden knob. All in all, I am please with the product quality and the price.
