I've now had this product for over a week, and have been nothing short of impressed with it. Many of the other DJs in town have the 'On Stage' laptop stand that looks very similar to the model I purchased. In comparison, this stand feels much heavier and more solidly built - like something I could leave my 17" laptop on. Another notable difference is the lip that holds your laptop in place.. The 'Oddysey' laptop stand is padded and leaves much room to hold a thicker laptop, whereas the 'On Stage' models lip is much shorter with no padding. A great feature about the 'Oddysey' is seen in the picture where the legs meet the base - this stand allows you the option of sliding the stand under another piece of equipment such as a turntable, cdj, mixer, road case, etc. Brilliantly designed - I wont need a wider table to utilize this stand! Included in the box was more than enough hardware for any advertised configuration, the clamps for fixing the stand down to a table or to my road cases, and extra padding should i suffer any wear and tear. The assembly instructions do leave a bit to be desired for.. However I imagine anyone 13+ should have no problems putting it together. I have seen some users flip the tops of stand around for larger laptops - though my 17" fits nicely with the stand assembled just as you see it in the picture.
