I read the reviews of other night latches and thought this one would work best. Some people were complaining about other brands being too small on traditional western saddles. I have a couple of Tucker saddles with different forks, so this one is a bit on the large size for strapping around the fork of the saddle. It will do for what I need it to do though. I might end up cutting down the buckle strap as I have a lot of extra strap there after its fastened.
