My husband and I just moved into a new apartment that unfortunately doesn't come with central air and heat, so I wanted a option to heat my room that wouldn't rack up the electric bill. After reading the reviews for a few different heaters and fireplace, I decided to get this one. BEST DECISION EVER. This fireplace looks beautiful in my bedroom and heats it up really quickly. My favorite part is that you can set it to a temperature and it will turn off once the room has heat up to the desire temp and turn back on briefly when the room cools down some. This is a game changer for my electric bill. I am used to the fireplaces that stay on, resulting in an extremely high electric bill. It also allows for you to set a timer if you would like it to just stay on for a while. An added bonus is the LED light! My bed room can get pretty dark at night so my husband and I use it as a nightlight so we aren't hitting our selves against anything during middle of the night bathroom trips. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!Nowhere in the Installation manual does it state how to put in the crystals. I saw many questions here about how to insert them. Then I found it in the second book to come with the product called 'Homeowners Operating Manual." Why would my installer think to look there! But there it was on page 6. The book for how to put together the "Fireplace TV Stand" shows you how to insert the fireplace in step 12 without mentioning the crystals and jumps to step 13 (showing the crystals in it). They really need to fix there manuals to alleviate all the questions here. SO IF YOU ARE BUYING THIS - read both manuals before assembling!Read tons of reviews before buying. Totally worth the money and for the record, this is a steal compared to others we looked at.Instructions were on point. Everything was labeled so clearly and made the setup super easy. The different colors and settings are just awesome and we also bought some led lights to go behind our tv to enhance the entertainment center even more. This product is sturdy and the quality is good. Highly recommend!! Especially before it increases in priceAssembly was easy, just pay close attention. Unit is sturdy and classy. The unit also has a timer for the lights and heat. There is a thermostat setting for the heater. So when the rooms drops below a certain temp, it will kick on.Absolutely a great product! I love everything about this entertainment center. Lots of different color combinations to choose from because you can opt to have the flames and the crystals a different hue!The only negative would be having to put it together but the instructions were clear and easy to follow albeit this will probably take about 2 hours to assemble. This unit is very nice. I shopped around and this was the best value for the same size of all different makers.Very sturdy, looks great, works great. I put it together by myself in about 2 hours, but I'm used to this and have the proper tools. Love it!After a couple of hours of assembly it turned out amazing. Couldn’t have asked for more. Still wondering if the LED lights could burn out in the light strips and if they do how to replace them. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it though. Perfect edition to our new home.Very beautiful when set up, instructions are pretty straightforward. Worth the money, so if you’re thinking about buying it do it!FYIyou have to unscrew the fireplace to put the crystals inside, then screw it back on. Not hard at all btwI bought this Feb 25th 2020 and I wanted to see if I had an issues. This has given me no problems (unless I run my dishwasher, space heater, this fireplace, computer and have all my lights on then I'll have to flip the breaker. I am in a basement suite and the electrical down here sucks).Anyway I BUILT THIS MYSELF. I am a 29 yr old female!!! People saying that cannot build it, or had problems were NOT looking at the instructions!!! This took me 3 hours INCLUDING thoroughly reading the instructions on both the fireplace and the furniture setup (2 different pieces of paper, which explains how to put the crystals in). I also counted all the pieces, laid out the hardware in sections and made sure I was organized before I began. This is NOT difficult to do if you do not rush, so just read EVERYTHING. I did not even use youtube, but I know there was a video (which I was going to use if I could not figure it out). I have built ikea furniture and this was way easier. There are different modes for the look of the fireplace. I was a bit disappointed by how cheesy the flames looked, but you can turn that mode off and still have heat if you want (like the first picture). I also thought the light was more purple then blue, but it is BLUE BLUE. I have never put it over 78 degrees just to not put too much strain on it and hopefully keep it for a long time.Very happy with my purchase and for the $600 I paid for it at the time, was a great buy for my cold winter months ahead. This was a gift for my daughter and her boyfriend. According to her it took two hours and only one fight haha to assemble they were so happy with it☺️Great heat thrown from the unit was another comment.Just a note, the lights do not change colours like others similar to this.Amazing!I love it. Easy instructions to follow.I would say be careful when adding the top part ot is a bit difficult going in the screws.Whatever you do do not use a hammer. My husband did and dented it a bit. However, it still looks amazing.
