A mismatched group of townsfolk take refuge in an abandoned house when bodies start to leave the graveyard in search of human flesh. Ben does his best to keep them safe, but when the reainated corpses surround the house, the rest of the group begin to panic. As any sembalance of order within the group begins to dissipate, the zombies start to find ways into the house and one by one, the living become the prey of the dead. Thomas Hutter is sent by his employer to Transylvania to met with the mysterious court Orlok. The eerie Orlok is interested in buying a house near Hutter and his wife, Ellen. Hutter begins to expect that the count might be a vampire and tries to escape the castle, knowing that his wife is in grave danger. Meanwhile Orlok's servant, Knock prepares for his master's arrival at his new home.
