Such beautiful illustrations. Very realistic settings while still being beautiful and interesting to look at. Love that the characters have dark skin to reflect their setting as well. The story is just the song so it's a great read for those preschool/Kinder age that know the song but can't read yet. Also enjoyed the German history of the song in the back of the book. So happy with it! Great way to tell the nativity story to young kids.
