I decided to purchase this stand as I couldn't afford a more expensive model and this had good reviews. I am glad I did because it works great. The build quality is very good, it holds my blue snowball mic very securely and where ever you put it it stays. Its nice and tight and doesn't drop down from the weight of the mic and just really works well. The mounting options for a desk also work great, I am using the clamp on option and It holds the stand securely.I would recommend this to someone that needs a good mic stand and doesn't want to spend a fortune.
