- The artwork is exceptional- Finding the mouse on each page is engaging- Finding the hidden animal on each page was very creative (they can be cuts in wood or clouds, etc.)- Presents the Forest/Mountain ecosystem in a way that actually captivates preschoolers.The cons are:1. I cannot find the hidden animal on the eagle page... it is supposed to be a fish/trout. It may be the tiny blue smudge above the squirrel, but I doubt it because all the other hidden images were clear and most were down right obvious. My preschooler and I found all the other images but not this one.2. The hidden animal on the racoon page is very tiny and hard to see (left side of page in the pine needles).3. This book presents the ecosystem but it does not teach about it. So you will need to pair this book with some learning materials to go further in depth... but given how great of a book this is, I really do not mind at all.Overall, I could not be happier with this book. If there are more in the series, I am go to buy them.
