What a tightly written novel. The character descriptions were on point, the storyline sailed smoothly along with the chapters alternating between Allison in the present and Maureen thirty years earlier. I took my time reading this and still read it within a few days. Only two typos that I counted but they pale in comparison to the overall literary integrity of the book. Twists within the last few chapters with a splendid ending. A most enjoyable read, highly recommended.
