I grew up listening to Amahl & The Night Visitors and I wanted to share it with my children. My oldest daughter has liked this music very much after seeing how excited I get when I listen to it! I got this before Christmas last year and I am planning on playing it every season to add to our family Christmas traditions! When I played it for the first few times and it came to some of my favorite songs in the play, I tried acting it out and singing along to help them know what was going on in the story! After receiving this and listening to it a few times, we went to a church Christmas dinner and coincidentally some people sung a song from this play there. It was awesome! For those readers who don't know the story, it is basically about a poor crippled shepherd boy and his mother who have the wise men stay at their home for the night during their long journey to see the baby Jesus.
