Product Description

Many of North America’s most beloved regions are artfully celebrated in these board books designed to soothe children before bedtime while instilling an early appreciation for the continent’s natural and cultural wonders. Each book stars a multicultural group of people visiting the featured area’s attractions, and rhythmic language guides children through the passage of both a single day and the four seasons while saluting the iconic aspects of each place. Covering many unique destinations across Michigan, including Detroit, the scenic Upper Peninsula, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Tahquamenon Falls, this board book is a celebration of places and things that make the Great Lakes State special.

I love the Adam Gamble books. I want them all!! The Michigan one was for a friend whose family lives there. She loved it and had never seen these books until I gave it to her. I love how they highlight all the top tourist spots in that state. So if you're familiar with the state its exciting to read about the places you've been. My daughter loves that!! They are sturdy thick pages that withstand being read over and over. And they're the perfect length. Not too short, not too long. My daughter and I have been reading ours from age 1 1/2 until now age 3 3/4. She still enjoys them. Her favorite right now is Good Night New Baby (because she has a new baby brother). These really pertain to life events and resonate with readers young and old. They are super cool gifts, happily given and received. And the Amazon prices are either always slightly less expensive or right on target.
